A revolutionary shark detection and warning system is being trialled on Bondi Beach. It's like killer drone tech and uses satellites, secure channels, 4G and onboard sonar. The sharks will need "friggin" lazers to get past this system. And somewhat weirdly, it's an idea that was cooked up at Optus.
